Resistor Color Code Chart

There are three types of resistor color coding. Each have different numbers of color bands and provide different information. The band number that contains the given value is shown in braces [ ]. This is illustrated in the the resistor color code charts below:

These resistor color code charts will show you what the resistance values should be. Don't forget the resistance can be off depending on the tolerance.
